Midsummer Event is LIVE!
Finally! The Midsummer Event in Get a Little Gold idle/incremental game started today, July 6, and will last for 3 weeks. As always, the first 2 weeks are the main stage of the event, and the final week is the closing stage.
Main stage
The main stage lasts 2 weeks. During this stage, players can earn Midsummer Badges by catching falling crates and completing chest challenges. Midsummer Badges can be used to purchase Midsummer Boxes containing valuable items such as:
- Inactive Shards
- Artifact Shards
- Mascot Parts
- Special Artifact Fragments
Closing stage
The closing stage lasts 1 week. Players can no longer earn Midsummer Badges from any source, but they can still spend their remaining badges on Midsummer Boxes.
IMPORTANT: all unused badges will disappear once the event ends.
The Pineapple
The Pineapple is an extremely rare Special Artifact whose fragments can only be obtained during the Midsummer Event. It increases the player’s DPS (damage per second) and DPC (damage per click) for every minute spent in a challenge. The Pineapple is arguably the most useful Special Artifact and can tremendously boost your progress in the Golem Challenge.
Carnival
Carnival is a bonus event active throughout all 3 weeks! It grants extra free rewards based on how many Midsummer Boxes you open. Open 300 Midsummer Boxes and you’ll get a guaranteed Pineapple Fragment - required to craft the Pineapple Special Artifact.
Carnival also includes other rare items, such as the Crystal of Reset and the Mysterious Box!
Boost for beginners
If you’ve just started playing Get a Little Gold, the Midsummer Event can boost your progress tremendously - every Midsummer Box contains 10, 100, or even 1000 Inactive Shards, making your first prestige much faster and more powerful.
