Anniversary event in Get a Little Gold It’s hard to believe, but the first Flash version of Get a Little Gold was released on Kongregate almost 10 years ago, in October 2016. We’re now closing in on the 10-year anniversary of this idle/incremental game!

Anniversary Event

To celebrate this milestone, the game will host the Anniversary Event, one of 6 major events in Get a Little Gold. During the event, players can obtain the Rose of Spoiler, one of the most powerful special artifacts.

The event starts next Monday, October 5, and lasts for 3 weeks.

During the active stage (October 5 – October 18), players will earn anniversary badges from chest challenges and falling crates. These badges can be used to purchase event boxes containing inactive shards, artifact shards, and mascot parts.

The final week is a grace period for spending your remaining badges and opening boxes.

Rose of Spoiler

Some boxes have a small chance of containing a Rose of Spoiler Fragment. These special artifact fragments are used to craft the Rose of Spoiler special artifact. They are rare, extremely valuable, and obtainable only during the event, so don’t miss your chance to get one!

The Rose of Spoiler increases the duration of power-ups such as Perfect Touch and Critical Rage, making it easier to build up boosts and activate combos.

Carnival

On top of the rewards from event boxes, players will earn extra prizes based on how many boxes they open during the event.

For instance, opening 300 boxes guarantees a Rose of Spoiler Fragment, and reaching 500 earns you a Crystal of Reset. In total, the Carnival contains 15 milestones, each with its own guaranteed prize.
